SuperEdi 4.2.2

Weighing in at little over 1MB, this WoLoSoft International developed piece of software can be used free of charge by website developers and programmers all over the world. Thanks to its built-in FTP client, SuperEdi allows them to edit text files locally or on a remote server. If you cannot locate the file you would like to edit, SuperEdi comes with a built-in directory tree. This way you can easily locate a file without ever having to open Windows Explorer.

SuperEdi also provides syntax coloring, which is nice. By default, syntax coloring is provided for HTML, CSS and JavaScript files. If you use another programming language, syntax coloring can be extended to cover it as well.

If at any time you feel like extending the functionality provided by this free piece of software, you can do so. This is one of the key features that SuperEdi provides - the text editor is extendable. Not bad for something you can use free of charge for personal as well as commercial purposes.

SuperEdi provides support for a handful of languages. These include English (obviously), German, Dutch, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese. If you are not an English, German or Italian native speaker for example, you can set it up so that SuperEdi uses your native language. Using the Localization Kit, which has all the resources, instructions and tools you need, you can translate the program.
